The 121' Essex-built "knockabout" schooner Adventure is the last of the great American Dory-Fishing Schooners. A U.S. National Historic Landmark, she is currently being restored as a living symbol of the New England fisheries' rich sea-faring heritage.
Adventure docks at the Gloucester Marine Railways at Harbor Loop, near the Coast Guard station. FREE guided tours are available Saturdays and Sundays from 9am - 4pm. Donations are welcome and volunteers for ship maintenance, tours and office are always needed!
The historic Adventure's all- volunteers crew cooks and serves a full breakfast on board every Sunday, from 9 am to noon. Donations are $6 for adults, $4 for children, and include a guided tour of the ship. Ship's store open. All proceeds help restore and maintain the last of the great American dory-fishing schooners.

The Hounds invite you to howl along with their "acoustic music with a bite," as they musically explore local topics such as: Dogtown Common, the Greasy Pole, seasick whale watchers and a heroic Ipswich dog catcher.
