WALK FOR HUNGER!

Emergency Feeding Programs in 113 Massachusetts Communities to Benefit

Despite a strong Massachusetts economy and record-low unemployment, one in 11 people in our state is at risk of being hungry. Additionally, 62 percent of agencies funded through Project Bread are reporting more hungry people turning to them for emergency food.

YOU can help. On Sunday, May 3, 1998 join more than 40,000 walkers in the 29th Annual Walk for Hunger and raise much needed funds for more than 350 soup kitchens, food pantries, food banks and food salvage programs in 113 Massachusetts communities.

Register for the Walk for Hunger with friends and family on Sunday, May 3, 1998 at the Boston Common from 7:00-9:00 a.m.

Walk Guides are available at Au Bon Pain, BankBoston, and Stop & Shop or by calling Project Bread at (617) 723-5000.
