We have no idea what the favorite dish of Lars Windhorst or Helmut Kohl is, but one of our German favorites is Hasenpfeffer, a spicy entrée of braised rabbit. You might like to try it with Kartoffelpfannkuchen, potato pancakes. Be sure to save room for Apfelstrudel!
...und zum Trinken?
German food -- especially something as powerful as Hasenpfeffer -- goes best with beer. And one of the better Web guides to beer is Die Bierjägerseite, the "Beerhunter's Page," a 3-star Magellan site.
You can find the German recipes above, together with many more, at a delectable Web site known as SOAR, the Searchable Online Archive of Recipes, a 4-star Magellan site.
