Geoghegan Associates, Public Relations

Geoghegan Associates is an independent Boston-based public relations consultancy. It is headed by Joan Geoghegan who has worked in the public relations field for more than 20 years in both New York City and in Boston.

Geoghegan Associates specializes in obtaining targeted media coverage and speaking engagements for clients in the business, trade and national press. Past media campaigns have included financial coverage for initial public offerings, both international and domestic business coverage for a venture capital firm, national and local coverage for a Boston-based law firm.

Joan Geoghegan, President

Before becoming an independent consultant, Joan Geoghegan worked for Time Inc., PARADE magazine, and Howard J. Rubenstein Associates in New York City. In Boston, she has worked for Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos and Mullen. She is a graduate of Barnard College, an undergraduate division of Columbia University in New York City.

Liora Bram, Account Executive

Account executive Liora Bram has three years' experience in the public relations field. At Geoghegan Associates she handles public relations for marketing, not-for-profit, and technology clients.

She has worked at Schneider & Associates in Boston on a variety of business and real estate accounts and at Teikyo Post University in Waterbury, CT, where she was an associate in the Development Office. She received her B.A. from Brandeis University in American Studies. Liora Bram has traveled extensively in the Middle East and speaks three languages.
